No Room! No Room! At Mount Carmel Baptist Church - St. Kitts - Cayon High Rocks Church - Bishop Ron Collins Says To Forget The Past & Move On

"Dear Jesus, please provide for The Mount Carmel Baptist Church, a new piece of land that is suitable to house our future modern, technological and spacious Sanctuary, Studio and Auditorium. Please ensure that we get enough space and funding for our Pre-School to High School Academy, Our Baptist Supermarket, Business Incubator Spaces for our New Business owners to get a start after we train them and enough space for our Call Centre and Factory so that none of our members are ever unemployed. We claim it and cancel any delays and blockages in Jesus Name. Amen."

I personally felt a bit embarrassed to hear our ushers saying "NO ROOM! NO ROOM! You can try to get a space in the balcony or we can get you a chair for the outside." We had already packed nearly everywhere with extra seats. As I walked around the outer part of the church, people who were a bit late remained in their vehicles for the service.

I really know we encouraged our Mount Carmel Baptist members to go all out to invite individuals to attend our Friendship Sunday Service on Sunday, 21st October, 2012, but Honestly - our management team didn't expect such an enormously large crowd. We had prepared an enormous number of snacks and even after asking our members to let visitors have first, we still ran out.

I walked alway from the crowd a bit and "kinda" wished Jesus had showed up to bless and multiply the crates and the juice. Well he probably would have if we had really prayed, but we all have a bad way of worrying first, then praying after and also thinking that those things only can happen in Bible days. Ohhh Ye of Little Faith.. I won't make this too wordly, pictures and videos will tell it all. See Below. . . .

We refuse to be scared. We just have to pray and prepare indeed. We know that our general membership and youth membership especially will drastically increase over the next few weeks as we role out many of our new programs to empower our members and attendees ONLY. We definitely know that individuals are looking for a place to worship that focuses more on SOUND Bible Teachings and People Empowerment rather than running their pockets dry. We know individuals are looking for a place that will use them and get them involved and not bench them for years and use one set of people. This is the On Fire & Revived Mount Carmel. The Mount Carmel Baptist Church has taken on a new vision to GIVE  MUCH  INTO  THE  LIVES  OF  INDIVIDUALS, and not be named among organizations that are overdoing their REQUESTING and milking members dry.

The Church has some very new, innovative, creative programs that no Caribbean Church is involved in as yet, to empower their members. We are partnering with transport to be able to bus individuals from every corner of St. Kitts to be apart of this NEW  THING  that God is doing so they won't regret that they didn't in the future.

The event was covered by Dare 2 Be Different Internet TV - www.d2bdtv.com and Internet Radio - www.d2bdradio.com . Footage and coverage will be replayed all week this week.

Let's have a closer look at today in pictures.

Apart from the great worship experience, attendees begged for a second rendition from The Cayon High School Steel Orchestra. The Mount Carmel Baptist Boys Choir  blessed hearts with their rendition of "Oh Happy Day" that featured Keyboard Veteran Brother Frank Claxton. Nobody else other than Sister Kerese Dias, Director of the Dare 2 Be Different Dance Theatre would have done a better job dancing to "It All Belongs To You." This fine dancer was once put on probation from dancing in a church group to stifle her talent, but is now actively involved in the lives of youth as she teaches to impact.

Kerese Dias to Minister at Mount Carmel Baptist Friendship Sunday

Always willing to give the youth a CHANCE, Kerese Dias was invited by The Mount Carmel Baptist Church leadership to do what she enjoys doing best - Ministering through dance at The Church's Friendship Sunday on Sunday, 21st October, 2012.

Khrystus Wallace, President of Dare 2 Be Different International which adopted Mount Carmel late September, 2012 is working to EMPOWER the young and the old to reach out further with their skills and go after their dreams. After preaching one of his last sermons at the church, he told the congregation that he will be helping the writers apart of the ministries to publish their own books for free through his connections, teach them how to use the computer and also fix computers along with many other skills.

Wallace is on a drive to work with Dare 2 Be Different and Mount Carmel Baptist Youth to bring out their own CDs, DVDs, Books, Music Videos etc. He firmly believes that one of the reasons the church is losing its young people is because it is not helping to empower them and encourage them to go after their dreams.

Kerese Dias is among the first youths slated to release. She will be releasing a Dance DVD with several of her pieces and Dare 2 Be Different International and The Mount Carmel Baptist Church will be endorsing her DVD and helping her along with other youths to expose their pieces across their large network of Victory Centres and Dare 2 Be Differents around the world.

Wallace is overly excited that Kerese may probably get many invitations to minister all across the world when her DVD goes global and may probably even get recruited by an international dance firm. Wallace commented, "through our EMPOWERMENT  OF  YOUTHS, something we know that our ministry is leading the way across the Caribbean Region and doing, we know that many of them will get the chance to travel with us to countries all across the globe when The Mount Carmel Baptist Church and Dare 2 Be Different holds mega crusades. That's simply why we are  training and empowering them now - in the earlies. We're preparing them for GLOBAL  MINISTRY  AND  KINGDOM  BUILDING. Providing such opportunities will definitely attract other youths into the church because they will finally see that there is a FINALLY a Church in the Federation of St. Kitts - Nevis that not only cares about preaching, praying and collecting tithes and offerings, but also interested about EMPOWERING  THEM."

The Bible Says That God Will Allow You To Walk in Safety

The Bible says in 2 Samuel 22:37 Thou hast enlarged my steps under me; so that my feet did not slip.

What a glorious word of comfort! Once we have our faith and trust in God, there are always benefits to be gained. One such is that God promises to take good care of you so that you always walk in safety.

There is a condition though, you must trust God as He always gives special care to those who love him.

Endure The Process by Khrystus Wallace preached at The Mount Carmel Baptist

Although St. Kitts was still experiencing the after effects of Tropical Storm Rafael, Bishop Dr. Kelvin Jones decided that the weather was still good enough for church. He stated that he really expected just a handful, but was most grateful that the church turned out in its numbers.

Since electricity was out, the worship leader and congregation was ably assisted by the youths on the taborines and Brother Khrystus on his Acoustic Guitar. The Service was a blessing.

Having made a few comments, Dr. Jones introduced Brother Khrystus to deliver the Sunday Morning's Sermon. His God-Given powerful voice commanded the attention of everyone in attendance as they followed him throughout the delivery as he spoke on the topic - ENDURE  THE  PROCESS.

Wallace reminded his audience that everyone has difficulties in life and while some people's issues may be known to the public, the others were busy hiding them and suffering too. He encouraged his listeners not to be afraid of the tongues of others along with their negative words and send every negative word spoken over them, back to the owner that made it so it can come to pass on their life unless they repent of their gossiping spirit."

"We have to get to the point where we stop chatting people and carrying people's business here and there. We should only carry someone's business to someone else if we are discussing a plan to help them. We are brothers and sisters and we must be there for each other. We will ensure our ministry stands out as doing that. So when they bring news about you to me or about the sister to you, tell them that that "THERE  IS  HOPE  FOR  HIM  OR  HER and we're going to work to bring him back around. We are not writing off anyone in here any more. We done with that!" postulated Brother Wallace as the congregation cheered and shouted their amens.

He used throughout his presentation two of his favourite phrasees, "Don't Give Up!" and "Hope is Ahead"

Wallace's passage of scripture was Jeremiah 32:1-17 and 27. It is in this passage, the words are enforced, "Behold, I am the Lord, the God of all flesh: is there anything too hard for me?"

Brother Khrystus, as he prefers to be called, although an ordained minister, constantly reminded his listeners that God is going to work it out for them, no matter the issue.

He outlined 5 of the world's failures that turned GLOBAL  SUCCESSES and encouraged his congregation again. "KVK and Dare 2 Be Different and Mount Carmel will be some of the region's and world's biggest employers despite our challenging time now. Those who are speaking bad about us and pulling us down now, like Joseph's brothers, they will NEED US, they won't be able to survive without us. Watch and See! We have no choice but to remember to look out for those especially that are looking out for us now. Let's look at these examples of FAILURES  TURNED  SUCCESSES and be encouraged."

Henry Ford: While Ford is today known for his innovative assembly line and American-made cars, he wasn't an instant success. In fact, his early businesses failed and left him broke five times before he founded the successful Ford Motor Company.

R. H. Macy: Most people are familiar with Macy’s, a large department store chain, but Macy didn't always have it easy. Macy started seven failed business before finally hitting big with his store in New York City.

Walt Disney: Today Disney rakes in billions from merchandise, movies and theme parks around the world, but Walt Disney himself had a bit of a rough start. He was fired by a newspaper editor because, "he lacked imagination and had no good ideas." After that, Disney started a number of businesses that didn't last too long and ended with bankruptcy and failure. He kept working hard, however, and eventually found a recipe for success that worked.

Thomas Edison: In his early years, teachers told Edison he was "too stupid to learn anything." Work was no better, as he was fired from his first two jobs for not being productive enough. Even as an inventor, Edison made 1,000 unsuccessful attempts at inventing the light bulb. Of course, all those unsuccessful attempts finally resulted in the design that worked.

Bill Gates: Gates didn't seem like a shoe-in for success after dropping out of Harvard and starting a failed first business with Microsoft co-founder Paul Allen called Traf-O-Data. While this early idea didn't work, Gates' later work did, creating the global empire that is Microsoft.

Wallace assured the parents and students in attendance that he will be always in their corner fighting for them as he is fully against teachers and schools writing off students before assessing their situation and he isn't afraid of anyone. "Call me parents and students, especially when they want to write you off and I'll leave what I'm doing to represent you especially at schools." Wallace said.

He shared his personal experience of being a scholar from Dr. William Connor Primary through to High School always in A1s but being kicked into 5A2 at the Verchilds High School due to the pressures and pain that children experience living in an adulterous home.

Wallace said, "Many times teachers don't care, they don't ask to find out. Nobody inquired as to why this scholar's grades had gone south but I was determined to make this an example and God helped me to do it. I was the first A2 student, as far as I know to become Valedictorian across St. Kitts - Nevis and I'll tell this story everywhere I go around the world, to enact change and encourage our youths to ENDURE  THE  PROCESS and always stay HOPEFUL because they can be SUCCESSES  TOO. I will tell it to encourage teachers to not just TEACH, but get involved in the lives of children too."

Before turning back over to Dr. Jones, Senior Pastor at The Mount Carmel Baptist Church - www.mountcarmelbaptistonfire.com , Wallace shared many things that were accomplished this week with regards to Dare 2 Be Different and Mount Carmel Baptist Vision Plan.

One of the updates that particularly excited the church was the information that Mount Carmel Baptist / Dare 2 Be Different Farmers will soon be exporting particular organic products grown locally to California to produced end products there and he was finalizing the details with the USA company. He also encouraged writers in the church to start writing and gave a few example ideas. Wallace stated that he is not a preacher that is all about himself, but he wanted the entire church to be successful too and he can help them publish their books for free because of his connections.

"The youth singers apart of this church, we'll be helping them write songs and using my brother's studio - www.djmerci.com so that our young people can have their own albums and even books too and start making their own dollar from young."

Wallace inspired the church further by saying, "I'm no great singer, but search online for my music album and you'll see you can buy the full album or buy one song or buy a ringtone. I did it to show young people that you can do it too. You can earn a living from your talents and we will take you far. "

Wallace pledged to work along with Dare 2 Be Different and Mount Carmel Baptist members only for a considerable amount of time before considering other ministries because while out ALONE in the wilderness for four (4) years from 2008 - 2012 doing such a wonderful work for Jesus, no church willingly approached to worked fully along with his vision like Mount Carmel Baptist did.

Dr. Jones took the microphone and commented, "We thank God for another powerful word from Brother Wallace. We are truly grateful for him. God is really going to use him to take us far. Just listening to him and his dreams and ideas, it sounds like he's a prophet." The church laughed.

The adults and especially the youths are already catching Brother Wallace's heart of helpfulness which is lacking among so many ministers in so many churches around the globe. After service, a little girl handed over her laptop to Brother Wallace to fix at his www.thecompudoctors.com business. Members and of The Mount Carmel Baptist Church and Dare 2 Be Different Victory Centre would never have to pay for computer repairs. Wallace is a firm believer that there should be MANY  BENEFITS  of being apart of a church body because if Jesus was walking on earth today, everything would not have just been by OVERDOING IT and pulling all of member's money by using psychology, but rather HELPING   HIS  FOLLOWERS.

Wallace told the church, "We will stop using old ancient ways of fundraising from today. We will use the innovation to raise funds around the globle. Many of the fundraisers that we hold around the globe using the technology, those that help and participate will benefit. I will be heading to each group soon to tell you more in detail about this creative fundrasier and how you will get a US$40 compensation for each individual or company you recruit. The more people and businesses we get apart of this network, the more funds our church will raise annually to support the work. No one will be able to resist our offer so it won't be a hard task." Wallace said that he was going to use this plan to establish a minimum recurring income of US$100,000 within 1 year, to run the church and he believed that The Church should never be an organization suffering due to lack of funds."

BISHOP DR. KELVIN JONES to officially release 1st Church Website Soon

Bishop Dr. Kelvin Jones told his Mount Carmel Baptist Congregation on Sunday 7th October, 2012 during the morning service that he was overly pleased to be working along with the FRESH  VISION of  Khrystus Wallace of Dare 2 Be Different International as both bodies join hands to build the Kingdom of God.

"We're happy for the addition! We're happy for the ideas! We're happy for the Technology! Amen? Amen! Say Amen man - Amen belongs to the church!"

The 1st Dare 2 Be Different Victory Centre will be birth out of the Mount Carmel Baptist Church in St. Kitts and all Victory Centres that Brother Khrystus plans to plant around the world will fall directly under Bishop Dr. Kelvin and 1st Lady Jones.

Jones told the congregation in a previous service that Brother Khrystus Wallace grew up under his ministry while he was the WELL  ABLED  PASTOR  of the Antioch Baptist Church founded by Dr. William M. Connor. He further stated that he was the one who taught him in converts class and he was the one that baptized him too and he was more than humbled to welcome him back to serve and to work along with his FRESH  VISION as nothing happens before its time.

Dr. Jones made those comments during the latter part of September 2012 after Brother Wallace delivered a sermon that turned the church upside down and saw several youth and adults move forward for Salvation and about 75% of the church respond to the altar call.

Jones, who has been serving in ministry for over 52 years will be releasing the church's 1st website - www.mountcarmelbaptistonfire.com very soon. This interactive website is expected to inform the world of Mount Carmel's History, beliefs, updates and a feature so that global supports can automatically give and support the ministry. The website will also feature an interactive link to Dare 2 Be Different's Internet TV and Radio. Some services and events are expected to be carried live from the church's website.

Dr. Jones and Brother Khrystus will be launching a new Radio and TV program on Dare 2 Be Different Internet Radio - www.d2bdradio.com and TV - www.d2bdtv.com and on YOUTUBE called DIGGING  DEEP. The program would be a Bible Study that gets indepth into the word of God and provides sound teaching which is lacking in many lives of Christians.

This initiative falls well along with the international vision and mission of the duo-ministry which is to IMPACT  THE  WORLD. As God provides, Jones and Wallace plan to send preachers within the network to its different branches around the world on mission trips and to also help establish churches too as the world is expected to be continually kept up to date on the plans via the use of technology.

Brother Khrystus Wallace, addressing The Mount Carmel Baptist Church congregation on Sunday 7th said, "I am asking everyone to get a membership registration form to ensure that we have you well documented and we see where we can start getting your involved immediately. We are going to get back to what New Testament Church really is. Not just preaching and praying and collecting tithes and offerings. We will be helping and empowering our members too. We will be teaching them how to bake bread, how to sew, how to fix computers, how to use the computers, how to make sweet potatoto and breadfruit flour, local drinks etc etc.

We will be starting our Cooperative which would allow us to shop in bulk and bring in food so that our members DO  NOT  have to suffer from high food prices and prices of other goods anymore.  Effective immediately, we will begin to put in place The Mount Carmel Baptist Academy. This will see us adding computers to the church so that we can provide Information Technology training to this side of the island along with evening and homework classes for children and adults. We will be teaching afternoon CXC classes on this side of the island too and empowering and entering students to write CXC subjects. This is what CHURCH is about."

Dare 2 Be Different International - www.d2bdifferent.com has been tutoring classes, helping with SBAs and entering students for CXC Subjects on the other side of the island of St. Kitts for the past 10 years. Students register through www.thecompudoctors.com.  Wallace told the church that as he goes on grant seeking appeals around the world, The Educational Grant apart of The Super 8 Project would cover both  the establishment of full training institutes - The Dare 2 Be Different Academy and Bible Institute that will serve the western side of St. Kitts while The Mount Carmel Baptist Academy would serve the opposite end of the island. Both will be guided by former 20 year teaching veteran, 10 year headteacher and 5 year Education Officer - Mrs. Yvette Wallace, M.Ed.

The congregation cheered and gave a rousing applause as Wallace outlined the combined Mount Carmel Baptist and Dare 2 Be Different Fresh Vision.

Wallace handed over The Dare 2 Be Different Super 8 Project Grant Proposal to Dr. Jones. Dr. Jones in receiving it exclaimed from the microphone, "This is a 30 Million USD Dream and we have no doubt that God will see it through!"

The plan includes the vision of Dare 2 Be Different's Multi-Million Dollar Mission Centre Vision of Khrystus Wallace presented online at: http://hopeisahead.blogspot.com/2012/05/st-kitts-nevis-may-probably-be-home-to.html

Brother Dillon and Jennifer Sirjue, renowned architects attached to GWH ARCHITECTURAL in St. Kitts are the ones charged with putting together the Architectural Vision Plan for the project in time for Wallace's Pitch to Donors and Investors before the year is out.
The Mount Carmel Baptist Church Large  Blue and White Coaster Bus will now start collecting Dare 2 Be Different Victory Centre members and interested attendees from Boyds from 9am each Sunday and travel along the Island Main Road collecting folks until it reaches Bourryeau in time for its 10am service.

Bishop Kelvin Jones, Senior Pastor recommended that Wallace begin to do that until everything is in order to launch The Dare 2 Be Different Victory Centre on the other side of the island and took the opportunity to invite individuals from all around St. Kitts to join the NEW  THING  that God will be doing through The Mount Carmel Baptist Church and Dare 2 Be Different International.

"I can feel your energy Brother Wallace. I can feel it. I was just like that when I was younger. We started Sunday Schools all over the place. I am most grateful for your help. Your invitation to preach at Mount Carmel was all apart of a God Setup and with you and the technology, Mount Carmel Baptist and The Victory Centre will be the number one churches in the Federation, making the BIGGEST  POSITIVE impact on the saved and building The Kingdom of God in the process."

Bishop Dr. Kelvin Jones, after 52 years in ministry, still plays the keyboard at church at times

Having been in ministry for over 52 years, Bishop Dr. Kelvin Jones, still plays the keyboard at The Mount Carmel Baptist Church at times. You really don't find this among many pastors now because as soon as they receive the Pastoral Post, they are higher than everyone else and have seemed to lost the command of Jesus to be servants.

Cheers to Dr. Kelvin Jones - a True Pastor Indeed!
